One of the oldest pieces in the collection

This 1999/00 home shirt represents one of the earliest periods documented in the collection. Its Proton sponsor, classic yellow-and-navy stripes and period-specific visual language give it a distinctive place in the archive.

The shirt joined the collection after being acquired from a private football shirt collector in Hungary. Its significance therefore comes not only from its season, but also from its journey between collectors and into a new archive connected to Istanbul and Kraków.

More than a shirt

Vintage football shirts are not merely used sportswear. Sponsor typography, colour proportions, crest placement and fabric construction all preserve the visual language of their period.

This shirt documents more than the 1999/00 season. It also functions as a physical record that changed hands between collectors and survived through continued preservation.

The documentation process

Detailed front, back, collar, crest, sponsor and label photography will be added in future archive updates.

The objective is not simply to display the shirt, but to document its present condition, visual details and journey into the collection.
